Dundas Little League has a rich history in Little League Baseball.
This year we are grateful to be hosting the Minor and Major districts right here at Martino Park!!
The District playdowns are the initial tournament where teams compete for the opportunity to move on to the next level of competition. Districts begin July 4th, ending July 12th at Martino Park, where one team from each division will move on to represent the district at the Provincials. Be sure to come down and check out some great baseball and support players and coaches alike.
For the Major division, after the Provincials, the winning team moves on to the Canadian Championship. In 1965, Dundas Little League hosted the first Canadian Little League championship. Stoney Creek went on to win this tournament to represent Canada in the Little League World Series.
The Little League World Series is an annual international championship tournament for children aged 10-12, held in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The tournament has evolved to include teams from around the world and expanded to 16 teams in 2001.
Wouldn’t it be incredible to watch local teams play hard to get to this tournament where amazing opportunity lies, and fun and friendships are created.
The Little League World Series is an incredible tournament that showcases incredible skills of 10-12 year old youth. If you have the opportunity to head down to experience the magic you should take it.

We also want to give a HUGE shoutout to the amazing volunteers that have put in many hours to make the tournament run smoothly. We are so blessed to have so many amazing volunteers. Be sure to give them a big THANK YOU for all their time and hard work they are putting into these tournaments. Remember, it isn’t just these two weeks, it is months of planning prior to as well!!!
