Big Weekend for DLL All Stars
Dundas All-Star sent 5 Teams to the JOHN KASCHAK FRIENDSHIP ALL-STAR TOURNAMENT in Windsor this past weekend.
What a show they put on! 4 of the 5 teams made it to the playoffs on Sunday. Great weather, beautiful parks, memories to last forever.
The 8U T-Ball Black All-Star Team had an unforgettable tournament! They went 6 and 0 and won the Championship in their division. They even got a fireworks show from the Windsor hosts on the Friday. Great job with Coach Jordan at the helm.
The 10U Minor Gold All-Star Team had 3 wins and a loss, then played the 10U Minor Black All-Star Team that were also 3 and 1, in the semi-finals, to see who would represent Dundas in the Championship. The Black Team took the win and played in the Championship garnering Silver Trophies.
The 12U Major Gold Team fell short of getting any wins but Coach Ryan said they became a team on the weekend. He said they were in some of their games and they could have gone either way.
The 12U Major Black Team won their first 5 games making it to the Championship and won Silver Trophies in a hard fought battle with a strong High Park Team.
Congrats to our Home Run Derby Champion Blake Kearsley!
It was a successful and fun filled weekend for all the players and parents. The Dundas All-Star program is off to a fantastic start!
Cheers,
Coach Matt
