That means we are only weeks away from Dundas Little League Baseball!!!

We are now in the final few DAYS before the 2024 season begins. The countdown timer is getting shorter.

These are a few items we wanted to convey as we start to prepare for our 70th Anniversary season....

 

1. As this is our 70th Anniversary, we are looking for any Alumni that may be out there who may want to come out to Opening Day and be a part of the celebrations. If you know anyone who has played, coached, umpired or been a volunteer, please invite them out. Remind them to bring any jerseys, medals, or paraphernalia from our past! 2. Every year we hand out an award to a volunteer named the Wes Snihur Award. We are now accepting nominations for the award, which can be sent to the President HERE. More information on the award: Wes Snihur was a longtime passionate volunteer in Little League and minor baseball. He took on various roles including coaching, umpiring, board member and District administrator for District #1 Little League Ontario. Wes Snihur passed away in August of 2010 after a battle with cancer. In the year following his passing, Dundas Little League sought a way to memorialize Wes, in a way that Wes would have appreciated. This award is presented not just to a dedicated volunteer, but someone who has impacted baseball in Dundas in a very positive way, over a long period of time.
   
   
3. Remember that May 4th is uniform pick up day. Once teams have been rostered next week, coaches will reach out to each player's family to set up times.
   
   
4. All Coaches please remember the MANDATORY coaches meetings on May 4th as well.
